Pertalite use in Temanggung rises as users shift from Pertamax
Temanggung’s 84,665 KL annual Pertalite quota is still seen as adequate despite rising demand, especially from motorcyclists.
The Temanggung regency administration has recorded a shift in fuel consumption from Pertamax to Pertalite, especially for two-wheeled vehicles, after changes in nonsubsidized fuel prices. Regent Agus Setyawan said fuel supplies and distribution in the region remain under control, including Pertalite, whose demand has risen because of the shift in consumption. The subsidized fuel quota for Temanggung stands at 84,665 kiloliter per year, or about 7,000 KL per month, and is said to still be sufficient for residents’ needs. The regency administration is also coordinating with Pertamina to keep deliveries to gas stations smooth and is urging residents to buy fuel according to their needs. For official vehicles, regional agencies have been asked to economize on fuel use so budgets stay within limits.
