Komjen Rudi Setiawan sworn in as Kemenimipas inspector general
He replaces Yan Sultra Indrajaya after his retirement, as Kemenimipas has handled 774 employee discipline violations.
Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto swore in Komisaris Jenderal Rudi Setiawan as Inspector General of Kemenimipas in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/7). Rudi replaces Komjen Yan Sultra Indrajaya, who has reached retirement age. After the oath-taking ceremony at Aula Jusuf Adiwinata in the Kemenimipas building, Rudi signed and read the integrity pact. Kemenimipas said the appointment is aimed at strengthening internal oversight and promoting transparent, accountable governance. Before joining Kemenimipas, Rudi served as police chief of Jawa Barat from April 2025 to Mei 2026, then was reassigned to Mabes Polri. On 30 June 2026, he was promoted to komjen in a ceremony led by National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo. As of 24 April 2026, Kemenimipas inspectorate general data showed 774 cases of employee discipline violations had been uncovered and acted on.
