Kios Hari-Hari in Jayapura grows into 5 BRILink Agent points
In the past two years, Darwin Chandra's service network has expanded to Abepura, Kotaraja and Waena for cash withdrawals and bill payments.
Kios Hari-Hari owned by Darwin Chandra in Jayapura has grown from a basic-goods stall into a network of five BRILink Agent points. The business, started in Distrik Abepura on 14 February 2011, entered banking services in 2017, when BRI offered an agency partnership. Since then, the kiosk has handled cash withdrawals, transfers, bill payments and other banking transactions for residents seeking closer access without going to a bank branch. Over the past two years, Darwin has expanded the network to several locations in Jayapura, including Abepura, Kotaraja and Waena. Antara reported that the move has also created business opportunities and broadened financial access for people in Papua.
