Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan holds interfaith prayer, gives Rp127 juta
The aid went to 250 recipients in Balikpapan and Penajam Paser Utara as part of a Rp1 miliar program in 14 regions.
PT Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan held an interfaith prayer gathering at the New Site Office of PT Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan in Balikpapan on Monday (22/6) to support smooth refinery operations. The event, attended by leaders from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and KPB, also distributed Rp127 juta in assistance to 250 orphans, low-income residents and people with disabilities in Balikpapan and Penajam Paser Utara. Recipients included Islamic boarding schools, orphanages, Christian and Catholic communities, as well as groups such as Himpunan Wanita Disabilitas Indonesia and Perkumpulan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia Balikpapan. Nationwide, the Pertamina Berkah program was carried out simultaneously on 19 June 2026 across eight regional areas and six refinery operating areas, with a total of Rp1 miliar distributed to about 100 foundations and 4.000 beneficiaries.
