Kemensetneg, MA, Kejagung seek more 2027 funding
Kejagung asked for Rp22,1 trillion, MA still faces a Rp7,92 trillion shortfall, and Komisi III approved the proposal with conditions.
Several state institutions sought additional 2027 funding in a meeting with DPR on Monday in Jakarta. Kementerian Sekretariat Negara requested an extra Rp6,626 trillion on top of its Rp2,672 trillion ceiling. Deputy Minister of State Secretariat Bambang Eko Suhariyanto said only Rp2,861 billion had been added from foreign grants for the acceleration of stunting response, leaving a gap of about Rp6,623 trillion. In Komisi III, Mahkamah Agung said unmet needs reached Rp7,92 trillion from its 2027 ceiling of Rp19,34 trillion. Kejaksaan Agung asked for an additional Rp22,1 trillion, bringing total needs to Rp43,6 trillion, and the proposal was approved by all factions with notes including CCTV and bodycam procurement in the regions and attention to prosecutors' and administrative staff allowances.
