Kemendiktisaintek investigates Nobel MBG paper naming Prabowo
Initial findings show several people named in the paper said they knew nothing of it, did not approve it and were not involved.
Kemendiktisaintek has formed a special team to examine a paper on SSRN that proposes the Makan Bergizi Gratis program as a nomination for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize and lists President Prabowo Subianto as one of the authors. In its initial investigation, the ministry said several people whose names appear in the paper said they did not know about it, were never asked for approval, and were not involved in drafting or uploading the manuscript. The lead author, identified only as DD, has also issued a written statement and apologized. Kemendiktisaintek said DD does not hold the title of professor and is not affiliated as a lecturer at any university. The government had earlier also reviewed a document circulating online that linked Kemendagri and IPDN to the paper.
