Kemenag opens selection for 6 echelon II posts through June 26
Administrative results are due June 29, followed by paper tests, assessments and interviews before the final announcement on July 17.
Kementerian Agama has opened an open selection for six pratama high leadership posts, or echelon II equivalent, through June 26, 2026. The openings include the head of the Kemenag regional office in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung and five bureau heads at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, UIN Walisongo Semarang, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, IAIN Sorong and IAKN Kupang. Registration is online at birosdm.kemenag.go.id/seleksijpt/ for civil servants who meet the requirements. Kemenag Secretary General Kamaruddin Amin said the process will be open and competitive. After registration, applicants will undergo administrative screening on a knockout basis. The administrative results are scheduled for June 29, followed by paper writing on July 1, competency assessment on July 2-4, final interviews on July 10-11 and the results announcement on July 17, 2026.
