Kejagung Secures Kajari and Kasi Pidsus in Serdang Bedagai
Both officials are being questioned over alleged conflicts of interest; if criminal elements are found, the case will move to Jampidsus.
Kejaksaan Agung secured the Head of the Serdang Bedagai District Prosecutor's Office in North Sumatra, Amriyata, along with the Head of the Special Crimes Section, Aguinaldo Marbun. The Kejagung intelligence team took the two men in after receiving a public report and following it up with an initial examination. Kejagung spokesman Anang Supriatna said there were allegations of procedural violations, unprofessional handling of cases, and conflicts of interest. Kejagung has not disclosed the details of the case behind the move. Both officials are still being examined by the intelligence team. If the review points to ethical violations, the case will be handed to the supervision unit; if criminal elements are found, it will be transferred to Jampidsus.
