Kejagung raids 6 sites in Sultra nickel case, seizes Rp11,8 billion

Investigators are also seeking AK, who is suspected of controlling six mining firms and is now abroad.

Kejaksaan Agung searched six locations in Jakarta in its investigation into alleged corruption in nickel mining governance in Sulawesi Tenggara. The Thursday searches targeted a house in Cilandak and several company offices affiliated with AK. At two locations, investigators seized Rp11,2 billion in cash and Rp595 million, along with mobile phones, laptops, CPUs, servers, mining operational documents and CCTV equipment. Jampidsus investigation director Saiful Bahri Siregar said AK is being sought with immigration assistance because he is overseas. Investigators suspect AK was the beneficiary of PT BSJ, PT KAA, PT ANI, PT AMI, PT AMID and PT HJ, while the case also examines alleged bribery to manipulate RKAB approvals so mining operations could continue.
