Joy Behar backs Vance 2028 run after sparring on 'The View'

Vice President JD Vance drew unexpected praise from Joy Behar after a tense appearance on ABC's "The View," with Behar later urging him to run for president in 2028. On the show's "Behind the Table" segment, Behar said she did not think Vance was "a bad guy" and said a race against California Gov. Gavin Newsom would make for an interesting debate because both men are intelligent. Earlier on Tuesday, Vance clashed with the co-hosts over immigration, race and the economy while promoting his new book, "Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith." Behar also said she remains aligned with Democrats, arguing the party cares more about the poor and working class than Republicans do.
