Jokowi begins 3-day political tour of NTT for PSI meeting
The July 31-Aug. 2 trip will cover Kota Kupang and Kabupaten Kupang, with traditional ceremonies and the Gajah Carnival.
Joko Widodo began a political tour of Nusa Tenggara Timur on Friday, July 31, 2026, to attend Partai Solidaritas Indonesia events in Kupang. The former president departed from Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali in the morning and is scheduled to remain in NTT until Sunday, Aug. 2. Over three days, the visit will include Kota Kupang and Kabupaten Kupang. In addition to attending the PSI NTT Rakorda, Jokowi is also scheduled to honor invitations from local residents for traditional ceremonies and the Gajah Carnival. Volunteers and PSI cadres are preparing to welcome him in Kupang. The trip marks the second stop on Jokowi's political tour with PSI after a visit to Lampung in late June, as the party seeks to strengthen its regional organization.
