Joint patrol detains 6 youths in North Jakarta, 3 suspected of drugs
Three others remain under questioning at Polsek Pademangan over suspected involvement in an armed robbery case.
A joint patrol by Brimob Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Jakarta Utara detained six youths in two separate operations in North Jakarta from early Saturday morning to morning, July 18. Three youths were first detained near the Rajawali gas station in Pademangan after they tried to flee when officers arrived. They are now being questioned at Polsek Pademangan over suspected involvement in an armed robbery case. Hours later, officers detained three more youths on Jalan Jati V, Tanjung Priok. At the scene, police seized two plastic packets containing material suspected to be synthetic tobacco. The three were handed over to Satresnarkoba Polres Metro Jakarta Utara for further questioning.
