Jasa Marga speeds toll road repairs before school holiday
The company aims to fix any potential road damage within two days of detection as travel volumes rise.
PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is intensifying routine and preventive maintenance on several toll roads ahead of higher traffic during the school holiday period. Through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance, the work includes expanding toll gate capacity, installing median concrete barriers, renovating toll gates and toll plazas, and scrapping, filling and overlay. In June 2026, work is under way on the Jakarta-Cikampek, Jakarta-Tangerang, Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang, Padalarang-Cileunyi, and Jakarta Outer Ring Road toll roads. Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Purwantono said road conditions have deteriorated because of heavy rainfall and over dimension over loading vehicles. Inspection data from the Smart Car Vehicle Hawkeye 2000 is also being combined with AI at the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center to speed field response.
