Thailand PM Anutin to visit Jakarta on Aug. 3-4
The first official trip will include Indonesia-Thailand leader talks on security, investment, food, energy and ASEAN cooperation.
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is scheduled to visit Jakarta on Aug. 3-4, 2026, in his first official trip to Indonesia. Thailand's Foreign Ministry said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow will accompany the visit. Anutin is coming at the invitation of President Prabowo Subianto and will co-chair the second Indonesia-Thailand Leader's Consultation. The talks will cover bilateral cooperation in security, combating transnational crime, trade and investment, food and energy resilience, people-to-people ties and regional cooperation in ASEAN. The visit is described as an introductory trip following ASEAN tradition for new heads of government.
