Iran launched drone strikes at US-linked sites in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait

What's new: Bahrain said it intercepted several Iranian drones, while Washington had not confirmed damage or casualties at the targeted facilities.

Iran’s military said it launched drone attacks on American military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait on July 24, framing the operation as retaliation for the latest US strikes on Iran. State media said the targets included Isa Air Base in Bahrain, Al-Azraq base in Jordan, and Camp Udairi, Camp Doha, Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Bahrain later said it intercepted and destroyed “a number of Iranian aerial aggressions” and accused Tehran of targeting civilians. An AFP journalist in Bahrain reported an explosion and warning sirens. Jordan had not reported strikes, and the US had not confirmed any attacks on its facilities or personnel.
