IPO survey: Bahlil ranks third among ministers, Golkar third
Bahlil posted 32.0% for performance and 32.8% for popularity, while Golkar logged 10.4% in party support.
An Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO) survey placed Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia third in the Cabinet Merah Putih ministerial performance rankings, while also putting Partai Golkar third in party electability. In the survey conducted from 27 July to 3 August 2026, Bahlil scored 32.0 percent on ministerial performance and 32.8 percent on popularity. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa ranked first in performance with 42.8 percent, followed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya at 33.5 percent. In party electability, Golkar recorded 10.4 percent, behind Gerindra at 17.5 percent and PDI Perjuangan at 12.8 percent. IPO surveyed 1,200 respondents using stratified multistage random sampling, with a margin of error of about 2.9 percent and a 95 percent confidence level.
