IPDN graduates 1,404, with 1,204 cadets to become CPNS
The government is awaiting an inauguration schedule from Istana before assigning the graduates to regions across Indonesia.
Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri graduated 1,404 students from the 2025/2026 academic year at the IPDN Jatinangor campus in Kabupaten Sumedang on Sunday (26/7). Of the total, 1,204 were Sarjana Terapan Ilmu Pemerintahan, who, according to Menteri Dalam Negeri Muhammad Tito Karnavian, will soon be sworn in as golongan 3A calon pegawai negeri sipil. In addition to the cadets, IPDN also graduated 45 doctors, 73 magister terapan students, and 82 graduates of the Program Pendidikan Profesi Kepamongprajaan. Tito said many regional governments have requested IPDN graduates for placement because they are considered to have been equipped with discipline, integrity, leadership and academic ability during their studies. After the inauguration, the graduates will be assigned to various regions to strengthen the bureaucracy and public services.
