Inter Milan are moving closer to signing Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones in a deal expected to be worth about £30 million. Liverpool turned down a €25 million approach in June, but Inter have now pushed their offer up to €30 million rising to €35 million as negotiations continue. Jones, 25, has one year left on his contract, a factor that has increased the chances of a sale this summer. The academy product has made 228 appearances since his 2019 debut and played 49 times last season, though he started only 18 Premier League matches. Inter first tried to land him in January, and Jones is understood to want a fresh challenge after 16 years at Liverpool.
