InJourney to develop 4 airports in 2026, including Minangkabau
At Ngurah Rai, the expansion will raise terminal capacity to 32 million passengers a year after earlier landside upgrades.
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero), or InJourney Airports, will continue developing four airports in 2026, including Minangkabau Airport in Padang, West Sumatra. The three other airports in the program are Soekarno-Hatta in Tangerang, I Gusti Ngurah Rai in Bali, and Depati Amir in Pangkalpinang. InJourney Airports President Director Mohammad R. Pahlevi said the project is part of a transformation of airport infrastructure and physical facilities to improve services and the passenger experience. At I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, this year’s work includes the passenger terminal, with a target capacity of 32 million passengers per year, after landside improvements were completed earlier. The work covers optimization of the international departure pier Gates 1-9, construction of a pier connector, landscape arrangement, waiting areas, revitalization of the check-in area and departure gates, and a connector bridge between the domestic and international terminals.
