Indramayu deputy regent held in DPRD allowance graft case
Kejati Jabar detained two of three suspects after a Bandung examination; state losses in the 2022-2025 case are estimated at Rp18,7 miliar.
West Java's Kejati Jabar detained Indramayu Deputy Regent Syaefudin and former acting DPRD secretary IH in a corruption case involving housing and transportation allowances for Indramayu DPRD leaders and members. The detention took place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, after questioning in Bandung. Kejati Jabar said there are three suspects in total in the 2022-2025 budget case, with state losses estimated at around Rp18,7 miliar. A third suspect, identified as AF, has not yet been questioned because of illness. Kejari Indramayu said further investigation progress and subsequent legal steps are entirely under Kejati Jabar's authority, and it has not received any order regarding security or monitoring of the suspect who has not yet been detained.
