Indonesia failed to reach the semifinals of the AFF Cup 2026 after drawing 1-1 with Singapura in its final Group A match at Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday. The result left the Indonesia team third in the group with seven points, behind Vietnam on 10 and Singapura on eight. Indonesia took the lead through Ragnar Oratmangoen in the 47th minute. Singapura equalized through Fandi Ahmad in the 65th minute after a scramble in front of goal involving Cahya Supriadi. PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said the federation would review the result to prepare the team for the next tournaments, including FIFA Match Day and the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
