Houthi threaten Saudi airport again after 12 die in Riyadh

The group warned airlines and travelers to avoid Saudi airspace as strikes were also reported to have hit Dammam.

Yemen's Houthi group renewed a warning for airlines, aviation workers and travelers to avoid Saudi airports and airspace after an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people and wounded 309 others. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said Saudi airports and airspace, except for Mecca and Medina, remained at risk of being targeted. At the same time, Saudi Arabia also reported attacks on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and on oil facilities, which the Houthi said were retaliation for Saudi airstrikes in Yemen. U.S. President Donald Trump described the Riyadh attack as horrific and raised the possibility that Washington could join Saudi Arabia in striking the Houthi.
