Max Miller over allegations of domestic violence, abuse and illegal drug use, putting new pressure on his reelection bid. Earlier in the day, Miller had asked for an ethics review, saying he wanted to clear his name. The case stems from accusations by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, during their custody fight. Court filings and police reports cited by multiple outlets say she accused Miller of throwing hot water on her, pushing her against a wall, holding a gun to her head and injuring their young daughter. Miller has denied the allegations and said he will stay in the race. The review lands as Republicans try to protect their narrow House majority in November.
