GIIAS 2026 projected to top last year’s attendance
The ICE BSD show features more than 65 global auto brands and 37 new vehicles through the Aug. 9 close.
Gaikindo projects GIIAS 2026 attendance will exceed last year’s total ahead of the final day of the exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang, on Sunday (9/8). Gaikindo daily chairman Anton Kumonty said visitor interest through Saturday afternoon indicates public enthusiasm for the automotive industry remains strong. The show, which opened on July 30, includes more than 65 global automotive brands, made up of 43 passenger vehicle brands, seven commercial vehicle brands, five body manufacturers, and 13 motorcycle brands, as well as support from more than 150 industry-related brands. This year also features 10 brands taking part in GIIAS for the first time. During the exhibition, a total of 37 new vehicles were introduced, from Indonesian Premiere to Asian Premiere, along with several concept vehicles.
