Gibran inducts 76 central Paskibraka members at Istana
The 76 students from 38 provinces are scheduled to raise the Merah Putih at the 81st RI Independence Day ceremony on Aug. 17.
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka inducted 76 members of the central Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka at Istana Negara, Jakarta, on Saturday (15/8). They include male and female representatives from 38 provinces and will take part in the 81st RI Independence Day ceremony at Istana Merdeka on Aug. 17, 2026. The ceremony opened with Indonesia Raya and a moment of silence, followed by the oath led by BPIP head Yudian Wahyudi. Julita Rista Lestari, a member from Kalimantan Timur, led the proceedings and represented the members during the oath. After the induction statement, Gibran pinned on badges and symbolically placed the kendit. The event ended at about 14.14 WIB, followed by greetings with the members and a group photo.
