Four women accuse Jared Leto of sexual abuse

Four women accuse actor and musician Jared Leto of sexual abuse against them while they were teenagers, according to the BBC documentary "Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret" that aired July 29, 2026. One accuser said she was assaulted in a motel bathroom in Las Vegas when she was 17. Another said Leto threatened her with sexual violence in a hotel room in London when she was 19. Other testimony describes sex with Leto in California at age 17, which would be classified as child rape under local law, as well as repeated sexual phone calls to a 16-year-old. The BBC said it had corroborated several accounts with messages, photos and statements from friends and family. Leto, through his representative, denied the allegations and called them "completely and categorically false."
