Fortuna Sittard defeated Cambuur 3-1 in the second round of the 2026/27 Eredivisie at Fortuna Sittard Stadium on Sunday, with two Indonesia national team players, Ole Romeny and Justin Hubner, in the starting lineup. The win kept Fortuna unbeaten to start the season and put them second in the standings with four points, behind AZ Alkmaar, which has six points from two matches. The hosts went ahead on a sixth-minute header by Philip Brittijn, then doubled the lead through Lequincio Zeefuik in the 15th minute. Cambuur cut the deficit through Rafik El Arguioui in the 22nd minute. Shiloh Zand sealed the victory for Fortuna in second-half injury time.
