Former TaniHub CEO Ivan Arie gets 9 years in graft case

Ivan must also pay Rp3,26 miliar in replacement money, while former TaniHub CFO Edison Tobing was sentenced to 7 years.

The Central Jakarta Corruption Court sentenced former PT Tani Group Indonesia CEO Ivan Arie Sustiawan to 9 years in prison in a corruption and money-laundering case tied to the management of TaniHub investment funds in 2019-2023. The panel of judges, led by Brelly Yuniar Dien, found Ivan guilty together with former TaniHub Finance Director Edison Tobing, who received a 7-year sentence. Both were also fined Rp1 miliar each, with a substitute sentence of 190 days in jail. In the money-laundering case, Ivan was ordered to pay Rp3,26 miliar in replacement money, with a 4-year prison term in default, while Edison was ordered to pay Rp1,06 miliar with a 3-year default term. The verdict was lighter than the prosecutors' request, which had sought 12 years for Ivan and 10 years for Edison.
