FH UGM backs lecturer after doxing over PU criticism

New: SPK urged police to probe leaks of NIK, addresses, family data and device location used to intimidate Nabiyla.

The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada is preparing institutional protection and legal assistance for its lecturer, Nabiyla Risfa Izzati, after she faced alleged doxing and threats through WhatsApp. The intimidation came after Nabiyla posted an academic comment on X about the transfer of civil servants at the Ministry of Public Works. In a message from an unknown number on 16 July 2026, the sender asked that the post be deleted while revealing Nabiyla’s personal data, including NIK, address, place and date of birth, family data, and the last location of her device. On 18 July, the Serikat Pekerja Kampus urged Polri to identify the culprit and trace access to the data, saying it may violate the Personal Data Protection Law. Nabiyla has also sent a legal warning through IBLM Law Group to the owner or user of the threatening number.
