Febrie trial presents Tan Kian and Ferry Boboho as witnesses
New: prosecutors have prepared 103 witnesses and 5 experts, while Ferry was examined first with LPSK protection.
The extortion and money laundering trial involving former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah resumed at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court on Monday (2/11), with three witnesses presented: property businessman Tan Kian, Ferry Yanto Hongkiriwang, known as Ferry Boboho, and Lustje Dewi Kusuma, also known as Lucy Kweek. Their testimony was also used in the cases of two other defendants, lawyer Don Ritto and private individual Nurman Herin. The panel of judges questioned Ferry first because he was accompanied by LPSK protection. In the indictment, Febrie is accused of extorting Tan Kian for 5 million Singapore dollars, or around Rp55 miliar, in connection with the handling of PT Asabri and PT Asuransi Jiwasraya cases. He is also charged with laundering Rp354,62 miliar in 2020-2026.
