Febrie Adriansyah pretrial hearing opens at PN Jaksel today
Two separate petitions on Aug. 18-19 will test suspect status, searches, seizures and detention in Febrie Adriansyah case.
The South Jakarta District Court began hearing a pretrial motion involving former Special Crimes Junior Attorney General Febrie Adriansyah on Tuesday (18/8) at 09.00 WIB. The petition challenges the legality of naming Febrie as a suspect, as well as searches, seizures, detention and other coercive measures in a corruption case and a money laundering case. According to the court schedule, there are two separate lawsuits under numbers 134/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL and 135/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL on 18-19 August. The respondent in the first case includes Polda Metro Jaya, Kortastipidkor Polri and the Investigation Directorate of Jampidsus, while the second case is directed at the Attorney General c.q. Jampidsus of Kejaksaan Agung. Febrie's lawyer, Febri Diansyah, said his team will challenge the suspect designation without examination of the suspect candidate and the underlying predicate offense in the money laundering case.
