Febri Diansyah becomes lawyer for corruption suspect Febrie Adriansyah
He replaces Hotman Paris Hutapea as Febrie Adriansyah is held for 20 days at the KPK detention center.
Former KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah is now the legal counsel for former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah, who is a suspect in alleged corruption and money laundering. Febri said he accepted the request to assist after being contacted by a colleague and discussing the case. He said everyone has the right to legal defense and that his team will focus on legal issues and protecting the client's rights. Before this, Hotman Paris Hutapea had served as Febrie Adriansyah's lawyer but stepped down for health reasons. The Kejaksaan Agung has named Febrie Adriansyah a suspect and detained him for 20 days at the KPK detention center since Friday. Febrie Adriansyah said the evidence still needs to be examined further and called his detention criminalization.
