Evermos and ILO train 230 vulnerable groups in digital business

The program, running since 2023, targets people with disabilities and former migrant workers, with training planned in Cirebon and DIY in 2026.

Evermos is working with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to expand digital entrepreneurship training for vulnerable groups in Indonesia, especially people with disabilities and former migrant workers. Since 2023, the program under the ILO Promise II Impact project has reached more than 230 beneficiaries in a number of cities. The training covers product selection in the Evermos app, digital marketing, use of WhatsApp Business and basic financial literacy. In March 2026, training was held for migrant workers in Cirebon, West Java. A similar program is also running in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, involving participants from HWDI Sleman and Pusat Pemberdayaan Disabilitas Mitra Sejahtera Gunungkidul. Data from Badan Pusat Statistik show labor force participation among people with disabilities was only about 20 percent in early 2025, lagging behind the non-disabled group at nearly 70 percent.
