Erick Thohir urges youth to strengthen human capital, economy

Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir called on young people and youth organizations to take a larger role in improving the quality of human resources and driving national economic growth. He delivered the appeal during the inauguration of the central board of Himpunan Mahasiswa Buddhis Indonesia (PP Hikmahbudhi) in Jakarta. Erick said young people hold a strategic position as agents of change who help oversee national development. He also asked the new Hikmahbudhi leadership to carry out its mandate by prioritizing service to the public. PP Hikmahbudhi chairman Agustina said the inauguration symbolized a commitment to expand service to the nation while promoting gender equality within the organization.
