Ella Langley scraps Tulsa arena show after bomb, shooting threat
What's new: Tulsa police said sweeps found no credible threat, but the FBI is now assisting the investigation.
Country singer Ella Langley canceled her sold-out Friday night concert at Tulsa's BOK Center after a caller threatened gunfire and bombs at the event, prompting a fresh police sweep of the arena. Tulsa police Capt. Richard Meulenberg said officers, bomb-detection dogs and venue security searched before the show and again after the call, but found no credible threat. Police said performers were told of the findings, and the show was still called off. Langley said the decision was made with local authorities, the venue and her security team because she would not risk fans, staff or crew. The BOK Center said refund information would be shared later. ABC reported the FBI is assisting the investigation.
