Dukcapil opens services at Nagekeo quake shelter, 300 docs issued

Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil opened population administration services directly at the refugee post for earthquake victims at Paroki Aeramo, Kecamatan Aesesa, Kabupaten Nagekeo, Nusa Tenggara Timur. In one day, officers issued 300 documents, consisting of 108 electronic ID cards, 93 family cards, 49 child identity cards, 26 birth certificates, four death certificates, and three marriage certificates. The team also recorded nine new KTP-el, issued five transfer certificates, and one each of child legalization documents, adopted child documents, and digital population identity activation. The earthquake in Nagekeo killed nine people, injured 22, and damaged 7,430 homes. The Dukcapil Tanggap Bencana NTT program runs from 24 Juli-28 Agustus 2026 and includes six service teams in several affected districts.
