Drone show lights up Bundaran HI on 81st Indonesia Day

A drone display enlivened the 81st Indonesia Day “Malam Merdeka” celebration at Bundaran HI, Jakarta, on Monday (17/8) night. The show began around 22:35 WIB and opened with a “Pray For NTT” message, urging residents to pray for people in Nusa Tenggara Timur, Sumatera Utara, and other areas in mourning. The drone formations then presented a visual sequence on Indonesia’s journey, from the struggle for independence and the nation’s diversity to the Proclamation read by Soekarno-Hatta. The visual story then moved to an 81-year-old Indonesia with the goal of an “Indonesia yang Berdaulat, Adil, dan Makmur” and hopes for Indonesia Emas 2045. Spectators at Bundaran HI recorded the display.
