Drone strike hits Aramco Jazan refinery, fire put out, no injuries

Houthi attacked the Saudi Aramco refinery in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, with a drone early Sunday, triggering a fire that was later extinguished with no injuries. Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree claimed the strike hit its target and said it was retaliation for Saudi operations in western Yemen. Saudi Arabia's Energy Ministry said emergency crews brought the fire under control at one refinery facility, but did not explain the cause. Other reports said Houthi also launched missiles and drones the same day at Al Makha Port, a Yemeni area held by the Riyadh-backed government. Tensions between Houthi and Saudi have risen in recent days, including a declaration of a maritime blockade in the Red Sea.
