DPRD Situbondo finds problems in Rp1.6 billion works project
Pemkab Situbondo has 60 days to follow up on BPK recommendations, with a review expected in early July 2026.
The Special Committee on BPK's audit report at the Situbondo Regency DPRD found alleged state financial losses of about Rp1.6 billion from physical projects in the 2025 fiscal year. Committee chair Siti Maria Ulfa disclosed the finding after a meeting with the Inspectorate and the regional secretary at the Situbondo DPRD building on Thursday. She said there has been no progress on repayment so far. The committee urged the relevant OPD to immediately address the 2025 budget findings, especially on physical projects, and to show a commitment to repayment before the 60-day follow-up deadline expires. Under Article 20 of Law No. 15/2004, BPK RI will review the progress of the follow-up. In the audit report on the Situbondo Pemkab 2025 financial statements, the findings were said to vary, including Rp1 billion, Rp4 billion, and Rp2 billion, mostly tied to road works such as concrete base layers.
