DPR approves 9 members of KPI Pusat for 2026-2029
The 9 were chosen from 26 remaining candidates, and 3 interim replacement candidates were also named.
The DPR RI approved nine members of the Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Pusat for the 2026-2029 term in a plenary meeting at the Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/7). Approval came after Komisi I presented the results of a public fit-and-proper test. Of 27 applicants, one withdrew, leaving 26 candidates in the selection process, and Komisi I then named the nine chosen candidates on 15 July. Deputy Chairman of Komisi I DPR Sukamta said his committee asked the elected members to commit to carrying out KPI’s duties, functions and powers professionally and responsibly. The DPR also named three interim replacement candidates for the same term.
