DPR mediates SGN workers’ demands on bonuses, work standards
New: PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara management has received the talks’ outcome and is following up on worker demands.
Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad received an audience with representatives of the Perkebunan Nusantara Workers Union at PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara at the parliament complex in Jakarta on Wednesday, continuing mediation with PT SGN management since last week. House Commission VI Chair Anggia Ermarini said the talks reached common ground, especially on bonuses and harmonizing work standards. She said the outcome has been received and is being followed up by management. The meeting was also attended by Commission VI member Nasim Khan. SPBUN-SGN Chairman M Rofi said workers hope the agreement will benefit all employees and are ready to improve performance and support the national self-sufficiency in sugar and energy resilience programs.
