Dokter Tifa withdraws pretrial motion after detention suspended

Tifauziah Tyassuma, alias Dokter Tifa, withdrew her pretrial motion against her detention after the Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan granted a suspension of detention. Tifa said the decision was taken because since 21 June 2026 she has not been detained during the run-up to trial. In the case involving allegations over Joko Widodo’s diploma, Tifa’s file was also separated from Roy Suryo’s, so each now has its own legal team while still coordinating. Polda Metro Jaya handed both of them and the evidence over to Kejari Jakarta Selatan on 22 June. After the second stage of proceedings, neither was detained and both were ordered to report once a week. The case file was then transferred to Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Timur on 23 June based on a decision by the Ketua Mahkamah Agung.
