DKI keeps flood budget intact during Kali Mampang normalization
Though the 2026 APBD falls by Rp10,54 triliun, Dinas SDA funds for river dredging and retention ponds were left untouched.
The DKI Jakarta administration has assured that flood-control funding will not be cut even as the 2026 APBD falls to Rp81,32 triliun. Governor Pramono Anung gave the assurance while inspecting the normalization of Kali Mampang Segmen Poncol in South Jakarta on Thursday, ahead of the rainy season. At the site, dredging has removed about 4.393 cubic meters of sediment, leaving 14.727 cubic meters remaining. In Kali Krukut, 8.507,3 cubic meters have been removed, with 142.692,7 cubic meters left. The administration is also maintaining embankments along Jalan Poncol Jaya for 300 meters and in Kompleks Canadiyanti for 241,7 meters. The work is aimed at reducing flooding in Mampang Prapatan, Pasar Minggu and Pancoran, while improving flow to Kanal Banjir Barat.
