DKI opens Jaksinema at Rusun Pasar Rumput, tickets from Rp15,000
The 43-seat mini cinema screens five Indonesian films a day from 11:00 to 20:05 WIB, drawing families and friends.
The DKI Jakarta provincial government has opened the Jaksinema mini cinema at Rusun Pasar Rumput in Tebet, South Jakarta, with tickets starting at Rp15,000 on weekdays and Rp20,000 on holidays. Inaugurated on Aug. 24, 2026, the facility is located inside the Jakmart minimarket in Tower III and offers a low-cost entertainment option for residents. During the Maulid Nabi holiday, the venue drew visitors who came with family and friends. Each day, Jaksinema schedules five Indonesian films in rotation from 11:00 to 20:05 WIB. The screening room has a capacity of 43 seats. DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno said Jaksinema is part of efforts to broaden public access to Indonesian films and strengthen Jakarta's ecosystem as a city of cinema.
