Demokrat holds 217 environmental actions, East Jakarta urges sorting
The Democrat movement reportedly drew 31,243 participants, while East Jakarta is preparing smart waste drop boxes for schools.
Partai Demokrat held the Gerakan Nasional Langit Biru Indonesia Asri in various regions as part of the party's 25th anniversary, with cleanups, tree planting, free health checks, and painting of houses of worship and public facilities. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said that through the third week, activities on 10, 17, and 24 July 2026 had been carried out by 181 DPC through 217 actions involving 31.243 participants. In East Jakarta, environmental awareness was also reinforced through Car Free Day on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, Pulogadung. Mayor Munjirin emphasized outreach on sorting waste, while PT ANTAM supported the effort with tree donations, inorganic waste bins, and smart waste drop boxes for schools.
