Daniel Sturridge cuts 16 eliminated players in Second Chance
From 16 players recalled in Bekasi, the former Liverpool striker will choose eight to move on.
Daniel Sturridge appeared in the fourth episode of the football program Second Chance and gave a new chance to 16 players who had been eliminated in the third episode. In the show, recorded at Stadion Patriot Candrabhaga in Bekasi, the former Liverpool and England striker led two intensive drill sessions to assess technique, decision-making, competitive mentality and character. From those 16 names, Sturridge will select eight players. The program, organized by Cuwitan Digital with EA SPORTS FC Mobile, involves 50 nonprofessional players from 10 regions in Indonesia. The selection also featured discussions between Sturridge, the coaching staff and Valentino “Jebreeet” Simanjuntak about each player’s potential.
