What's new: Police found the suspected vehicle abandoned and were searching for its occupants after cutting short the parade.

A car killed at least one person and injured about 15 others near Berlin's annual Pride parade on Friday, prompting police to cut short the event and clear the area. Police said the vehicle entered Tiergarten park on the outskirts of the Christopher Street Day celebration and struck several people in the crowd. A police spokesman, Florian Nath, said some survivors were seriously hurt and were receiving emergency treatment.
