Britain gives Ukraine Stone Cloak drone-jamming technology
What's new: London will share the system's intellectual property so Ukraine can scale up production.
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham used his first meeting with a foreign leader to deepen military support for Ukraine, meeting President Volodymyr Zelensky at a naval base in Portsmouth and committing Stone Cloak electronic-warfare technology for Ukrainian drones. Downing Street said the tablet-sized jammers can make drones harder for Russian air defenses to track in flight, and thousands have already been delivered. Burnham also moved to share the underlying intellectual property so Ukraine can produce the system at scale. The two leaders discussed joint defense production and met Ukrainian personnel training in Britain under the Sea Breeze maritime exercise.
