BPJS Kesehatan partners with 4 agencies to fix JKN data, dues
BPJS says JKN service transactions reach Rp16 trillion a month, while collected premiums are about Rp14 trillion.
BPJS Kesehatan is working with Kementerian Sosial, Kementerian Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia, Kementerian Dalam Negeri, and Badan Pusat Statistik to strengthen the Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional ecosystem. The cooperation covers data matching, information interoperability, stronger premium collection, and protection for Indonesian migrant workers. BPJS Kesehatan President Director Prihati Pujowaskito said the challenge for JKN is not only maintaining the sustainability of the Dana Jaminan Sosial, but also ensuring membership stays active and services remain easy, fast, and equal. BPJS said there are about two million JKN services a day, with health transactions valued at Rp500 billion; that totals Rp16 trillion a month, while premiums collected are about Rp14 trillion.
