BNPB, PNM open business financing for Agam disaster victims
Huntara Linggai residents have received three smoked-fish training sessions, plus an oven and collateral-free capital access.
BNPB, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), and the Agam Regency Government are carrying out the Klasterisasi 2026 program to restore the livelihoods of residents affected by disasters in Agam, West Sumatra. The program targets the Maninjau Lake fish-processing cluster in Huntara Linggai, Nagari Duo Koto, Tanjung Raya District, and the Salareh Aia areca nut-processing cluster in Palembayan District. In Huntara Linggai, PNM and the Agam Food Security Office have already provided three training sessions on smoked-fish processing, an smoking oven, and access to financing without collateral under the rules. For the areca nut cluster, PNM is working with the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Andalas and has distributed an oven, areca nut cutting knives, and a generator to strengthen residents' production capacity.
